Nearly 80 years on from the momentous and devastating bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, this landmark film explores the human fallout from the first – and last – time nuclear weapons were used in an act of war. The discussion will reveal how the filmmakers captured the powerful memories and lived experiences of some of the last remaining ‘Hibakusha’, the only people left on earth to have survived an atomic bomb.
