One of the most acclaimed film and sound editors, and author of the inspiring In the Blink of an Eye: A Perspective on Film Editing, three-time Academy Award-winner Walter Murch has amassed an incomparable body of work. His long-standing relationship with Francis Ford Coppola includes The Conversation, The Godfather Part II, Apocalypse Now and The Godfather Part III. He also developed a close working relationship with Anthony Minghella, winning two Oscars for The English Patient and one for Cold Mountain. He has edited many films and also directed the 1985 feature Return to Oz. He will talk about his work on the film Her Name Was Moviola and discuss the way film editing has changed across the decades.
